"Mein Name ist Joachim Becker und ich arbeite seit 2004 bei PROLOG. Mein Aufgabengebiet ist das Qualitätsmanagement und ich bin zuständig und verantwortlich dafür, dass IH Berlin PROLOG jedes Jahr die Dienstleistungsnormen ISO 9000 und AZWV erfüllt.
Kundenorientierung, Evaluation, Dokumentation und Transparenz – nach diesen Grundsätzen arbeiten wir bei PROLOG. Alle Arbeitsabläufe, die für die Kundenzufriedenheit wichtig sind, werden von uns dokumentiert und evaluiert. Die hohe Qualität des Unterrichts erreichen wir durch regelmäßige Hospitationen und durch ein umfangreiches Fortbildungsangebot für unsere Lehrer. Wir optimieren unsere Büroorganisation laufend und dokumentieren dies auch.
Jedes Jahr wird IH Berlin PROLOG von zwei externen Auditoren überprüft. Sie kontrollieren, ob unsere Arbeit, unter anderem die Anmeldungen, die Kursorganisation und das Beschwerdemanagement, den Dienstleistungsnormen ISO 9000 und AZWV (Anerkennung- und Zulassungsverfahren Weiterbildung) entsprechen. Es wird auch begutachtet, ob unsere Arbeit transparent und nachvollziehbar organisiert ist und ob der Kunde bei uns tatsächlich im Mittelpunkt steht. Das letzte ISO-Audit unseres Qualitätsmanagementsystems fand am 19.11.2009 statt. Die Zertifizierer haben auch dieses Mal bestätigt, dass PROLOG die Dienstleistungsnormen erfüllt.
Nach meinem Studium der Germanistik und Slavistik in •Göttingen und •Krakau, arbeitete ich mehrere Jahre am Institut für Allgemeine und Indogermanische Sprachwissenschaft in •Göttingen. 2002 und 2003 habe ich Deutsch als Fremdsprache und Linguistik an der •Universität Thorn/Torun (Polen) unterrichtet. Seit 2003 lebe ich in Berlin, einer Stadt, die nie fertig ist, sich immer verändert und so viele Chancen zur Selbstverwirklichung bietet wie keine andere deutsche Stadt. In meiner Freizeit erkunde ich fotografisch Berlin oder unternehme mit meiner Familie Touren in Brandenburg oder an der Ostsee."

"My name is Joachim Becker and I have worked at IH Berlin PROLOG since 2004. As Quality Manager, I am responsible for ensuring that IH Berlin PROLOG meets the specifications of ISO 9000 and the Recognition and Authorisation Ordinance for Continuing Education (AZWV).
Customer orientation, evaluation, documentation and transparency - these are the principles underpinning our work at PROLOG. Every work process that has an impact on our customers’ satisfaction is documented and evaluated. The high standard of teaching at IH Berlin PROLOG is achieved through regular training and development seminars and a programme of lesson observations and feedback. We are constantly optimising our office procedures and also document these improvements.
Every year, PROLOG is inspected by two external auditors who come to make sure that our work, our courses, our booking and registration processes and our complaints procedures meet the standards specified by the AZWV and ISO 9000 requirements. The auditors also consider the transparency and traceability of our procedures, as well as determining whether our customers do really stand at the centre of everything we do. The most recent ISO audit of our QMS was on 19.11.2009 and the two inspectors have once again certified that IH Berlin PROLOG fulfils all requirements.
After I’d completed my studies in Germanic and Slavic Studies at •Göttingen University and •Krakow, I spent a number of years working at the Institute for Indo-European Linguistics in •Göttingen. During 2002 and 2003, I taught German as a Foreign Language and Linguistics at •Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland. In 2003 I came to Berlin, a city that never stands still, is constantly changing and which offers more opportunities than any other city in Germany. In my free time I enjoy photography, as well as travelling with my family to the Baltic Sea coast or touring around Brandenburg."
